The support methods of traffic signs can be divided into four types: pillar, cantilever, gantry, and attachment.
The support method of traffic signs should be comprehensively determined according to factors such as traffic volume, vehicle composition, number of lanes, distribution of structures along the route, wind load magnitude, and roadside conditions.
(1) Warning, prohibition, indication signs and small-size guide signs should adopt single-pillar support, and medium and large-scale guide signs can adopt double-pillar or multi-pillar support.
